Aisin Corporation has announced a technological collaboration with Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd.’s “DNP Emotion Expression Font System” to integrate it with their real-time voice recognition system, “YYSystem.” This partnership aims to create a new service that visualizes emotions and atmosphere.

“YYSystem” is an application that utilizes AI to support stress-free communication for everyone, including the hearing impaired and the elderly. It focuses on conveying the emotions and atmosphere of conversations, featuring developments such as the ability to recognize and display laughter during conversations and the release of the “YY Atmosphere Camera,” which illustrates words and music to communicate moods.

The “DNP Emotion Expression Font System” is a system that automatically analyzes text data and changes fonts according to the expressed emotions and topics. This not only visualizes emotions but also highlights the intended words, providing a significant advantage.

By combining “YYSystem” transcription with the “DNP Emotion Expression Font System,” they aim to realize a voice recognition system that enhances emotional expression and allows everyone to enjoy conversations. This initiative is set to advance towards early social implementation in the fiscal year 2024.
