Temzack Co., Ltd. has developed the agricultural robot “New Model Thunderbird No. 1,” which can automatically perform both seeding and weed control by switching attachments, as part of its “WORKROID Agriculture” project that seeks to reduce labor through the use of robotic technology.
The “New Model Thunderbird No. 1” is a small agricultural robot designed to operate in swarms. It uses high-precision positioning and AI to identify areas where seeds have not been sown, allowing for efficient seeding even in irregularly shaped or small fields. It operates on solar energy, utilizing solar panels mounted on the top to run on clean energy.
Temzack Co., Ltd. aims to use the “WORKROID Agriculture” project to reduce labor and manpower in agriculture through robotic technology, create new demand for the harvested rice, contribute to food security, and achieve sustainable agriculture.
